Custom Crank Pulley Hub for Tork Tech Applications
Fits OEM Ford 2V Balancer or ATI 918036 Aftermarket Balancer in Modular Ford Applications
Limited Availability!
We machined two specific crank pulley hubs to fit applications using Tork Tech supercharger kits. One of these hubs fits the OEM Ford 2V balancer (pictured in image 4 for reference), while the other is intended for use with the ATI 918036 aftermarket balancer that is popular in these Ford applications. We have been advised that our crank pulley alignment with these hubs is also compatible with the M122-DS conversion that Tork Tech offers.
Both hubs are machined to match the dimensions of the original Tork Tech one-piece crank pulley, and when paired with the appropriate balancer, will position our crank pulley ring in proper alignment with the Tork Tech supercharger pulley. It is a huge benefit for Tork Tech supercharger owners to now be able to take advantage of any of our crank pulley rings offered for the Lightning and Cobra applications. Boost level changes are as simple as a crank pulley ring change.
Please note that crank pulley rings sized +4 lb and larger may require modifications for clearance.
Note from friend and customer Adam, using a 3.0" supercharger pulley:
"Just wanted to give an update on my M122-DS Tork Tech
setup. Your crank pulley hub and 6.55” ring worked perfect! The belt alignment
was spot on, no rubbing no chirping nothing. Just perfect! Also the boost level
is right where I wanted it. Completely stock engine with completely stock
exhaust on 2008 Crown Victoria P71, and with the M122 it starts the pull right
around 8.5-9 psi, hits 10 psi around 5,000 rpm’s, 11 psi around 5,500 and
barely touches 12 psi at 6k right at the shift point. Probably about 11.8 psi
max. Makes around 385-400whp with this setup.
Thanks for all the help, and having this product
available. Literally saved this setup. I’ll make sure to put the word out for
anyone buying this kit."
The harmonic balancers shown in these images are for illustrative purposes only. No balancer in included, and these crank pulley hubs are priced individually. Hub-to-balancer hardware is included, but ring-to-hub fasteners should be purchased with the crank pulley ring you choose. If you are using a stock Ford balancer that looks different from the 2V balancer shown in image 4, please see our MCH6001 hub for 4V applications, listed elsewhere in this section.
