2003 Mercury Marauder

This is a one-owner car purchased new by a town council member in nearby Elberton, GA.

It is one of 417 Silver Birch cars produced in 2003, and it is a 300B version with a build date of 3/2003.>

It is very, very clean, and completely original. Kristi wasted no time in adding 20% tint all around, one of Lidio's legendary 93 octane tunes, and a JLT cold air kit.

Of course, we have already added Metco Motorsports billet rear control arms, billet Watts Links, and our driveshaft safety loop. We have also added our breathers to each of the cam covers so no more oil makes its way into the intake. The rear wheels were widened to 9.5" inches and fitted with 295/45 Nitto tires, and the front tires were replaced with matching Nittos in the OEM 235/50 size.

On the inside, we replaced the carpet with a reproduction piece from ACC, and cleaned and detailed all of the interior surfaces.

In the capable hands of Mo's Speed Shop in Georgia, the car was treated to upgraded timing chain tensioners and guides, as well as a set of Ford Racing 4.10 gears.  Mo's also replaced the original harmonic balancer with the 811/963 unit from Innovators West, which has the built-in six-bolt flange to mount one of our supercharger pulley drive rings.

We have plans for a number of additional performance upgrades, and we will update here as this project progresses.
