Heavy-Duty Tensioner Pulley
For 1999-2004 Lightning and Supercharged Harley-Davidson F150, with OEM Tensioner

This pulley is designed to serve as a direct replacement for the OEM tensioner pulley on the supercharger drive. It is an 8-rib grooved pulley machined in a 76mm size so no modifications or belt length changes are required for installation. The pulley installs with the machined (silver) side facing the radiator, and the black side closest to the engine. The bolt threads from the rear of the pulley into the tensioner arm.
This pulley is a double-bearing pulley, which by design spreads the load from the belt over twice as many bearings, making the pulley as bulletproof as possible. This pulley is fitted with the same heavy-duty, large roller, double-seal NTN bearings we use for all Metco Motorsports pulleys, and in a properly set up system this pulley should be expected to be a permanent solution to the issues associated with the failure-prone OEM pulley. Because this pulley is wider at the mounting surface as compared to the original single-bearing pulley, small aluminum spacers (provided) are used to move the tensioner arm away from the crossover bracket. This positions the pulley's belt surface perfectly in line with the supercharger and crank pulleys. Fitment with any aftermarket tensioner arm is unconfirmed.
Like all Metco Motorsports pulleys, this pulley is CNC-machined from certified 6061-T6 billet aluminum, and then black-anodized on the belt surface and back side to provide an optimum surface for the belt and to resist corrosion. After machining and plating but before assembly, the pulley is vibratory polished to seal the machined face of the pulley.
Because of the specific mounting requirements for this pulley, a bearing cover cannot be used. A provided aluminum spacer provides the necessary support for the rear bearing, and a stainless steel socket-head cap screw secures the pulley from the rear to the tensioner arm.
This pulley cannot be used in conjunction with our tensioner support plate in Lightning and HD F150 applications, because of physical interference with the truck's mechanical fan. If the Lightning has been converted to an electric fan, this may not be an issue.
As mentioned previously, this tensioner pulley is designed for the OEM Lightning tensioner assembly, and while it may work with other tensioners or in other applications, compatibility is unconfirmed. We ask that you verify fitment in your application before purchasing this pulley, because these specialty pulleys are built to order and are not returnable.
