Strange Engineering D1541

This is a GM 4.88 ring and pinion set, manufactured by Eaton. As shown, these were used with a Strange lightweight spool for a Chevrolet 12-bolt axle housing. These parts were in service for a short time and then removed when the vehicle was returned to street duty. The parts have been carefully stored indoors since removal from the car.

The spool is for 35-spline axles, but if you can't use the spool the asking price is a great value for the gears alone. The ring gear has 39 teeth, and the pinion 8 teeth.
