2007 & Newer Shelby GT500, Supercharged Mustang Cobra
This cleverly-engineered adapter is designed to replace the OEM PCV valve adapter found on the passenger side valve cover in the supercharged Cobra, GT500, and other Modular Ford applications.
It installs as a direct replacement for the original part and even uses the original mounting fasteners. The adapter housing is CNC-machined from billet aluminum. As an option, a Fragola adapter bushing can be added to change the female 3/4" NPT threads in the base to 1/2" NPT to accept the AN fitting of your choice.
This kit is designed for users building a custom PCV system to better manage crank case pressures in high boost applications.
This kit may fit many other Modular applications using a similar 2-bolt flange on the cam cover, but fitment has not been confirmed on vehicles other than those specifically listed above. In some instances, the two flange is present on the cam cover but the two holes are not yet drilled and tapped.
The standard kit is the CNC-machined base with the o-ring seal. If desired, you may add the adapter bushing using the drop-down menu below.
Images 2 and 3 (above) show the adapter fitted with a modified Cobra PCV valve. Due to changes in the PCV valve design as offered by Ford, the adapter is no longer available in this configuration. Image 4 (above) shows a Fragola 10AN to 3/4" NPT adapter fitting installed (not included). This fitting is available from Fragola under PN 199009-BL.
Note 1: Some cam covers may have the 2-bolt flange cast into the cam cover, but the two mounting holes may not be drilled and tapped. In these instances, the user must perform this task.
Note 2: If your vehicle has a sensor connection or heater wire at the PCV valve, modification may be required to use this PCV adapter.
